New Partners

We started the month in Brunswick, Georgia, right as Tropical Storm Elsa made its way through that town. How incredibly thankful we are for our time with the loving church family of Bible Baptist and for the safety God provided as we traveled. We had the opportunity to share our testimonies/calling, and Nolan brought a message from God’s Word. Bible Baptist Church family, thank you for loving on our family in such a sweet way and partnering with us on this journey!

We are also excited and humbled to share that we heard from Pastor Ron Barker of FBC in Humeston, Iowa. This church family recently voted to become partners with us! Praise the Lord for answered prayers for partners as we endeavor to proclaim the peace of Christ in the Pearl of Africa.

Vacation Bible School

Our next stop in July was Walsh, Colorado. It was a privilege to be with the family of First Baptist Church for an entire week. During the Sunday service, Nolan was able to share about our calling and ministry in Uganda. For the rest of the week, we had the joy of taking part in their VBS. We absolutely love children’s ministry! So thankful to be able to teach the Bible time through skits as well as the missions time. Please join us in continuing to pray for the kids who acknowledged their need for salvation that they will have courage to make that next step.

We are looking forward to being with this church family once again as well as 5 other churches in Colorado during their joint, round-robin style mission conference this coming February.

Advanced Mission Training and Daily Life

The end of July brought us back to Springfield, Missouri, to take part in week two of Advanced Mission Training through the BBFI headquarters. Though an uprising in Covid cases caused our training to be moved to online last minute, the lessons learned through this time are invaluable. We want to give a big thanks to those at the mission office for putting this training together and investing in missionaries.

This month, while full of blessings, was also filled with unexpected car troubles and a double ear/double eye infection for Kayson. Knowing we have many people praying for us is such a blessing even before we make it to the mission field. Thank you for your prayers! Praise the Lord for his provisions, healing hands, and daily blessings!
