All Because He Lives
We hope you all had a wonderful Easter! While reflecting on our risen Savior, we cannot help but think of those in Uganda who are living in spiritual darkness. So many are still enslaved to witchcraft and other strongholds because they don’t know that their Creator made a way for all sin to be defeated. Because Jesus lives, we have the amazing news of the Gospel to share. We are ready for the day we get to move to Uganda to share this good news. We pray that those in Uganda and all across the globe know that “life is worth the living, just because He lives.”
Palm Trees and Partnerships
From Mississippi to Florida, we were thankful to visit several different churches this month (and enjoy the warm weather of the South). While in Florida, it was an absolute pleasure to be able to spend time with missionary colleagues, Russ and Sylvia Daniels. Our time together was full of good fellowship and talking about ministry, life, and culture in Uganda. This week, they will be recognized by the BBFI for 30 years of missionary service in Uganda. What a blessing! Please pray for Russ and Sylvia as they will be heading back to Uganda at the end of May. Please pray we can raise our needed support to be able to join them on the field soon.
At the end of the month, we made the drive from Florida to Michigan to be with a couple of churches. It is always encouraging to be in churches whose love for missions is so evident. We are so thankful for our new partners in the ministry including Liberty Baptist Church in Saint Petersburg, FL; Flint Baptist Temple in Burton, MI; and Central Baptist Church in Bonham, TX (who recently let us know they voted to partner with us). Praise the Lord!
