We are so thankful that Mosaic Christian Fellowship, a new church plant in Alvin, Texas, invited us to share our calling to Uganda. On the first Sunday in June, Nolan was able to be with them to present, as well as preach. Praise the Lord, they voted to partner with us! Since that time, we have heard back from four other church families who have voted to partner with us to take the Gospel, make disciples, and plant churches in Uganda! This means we have FIVE new supporting partners just within one month! This is truly a huge answer to prayer! All glory to God for your prayers and for the faithful support of church families all across the nation. Uganda, here we come!
The Next Generation
We had the privilege of sharing about Uganda with children’s groups from two different churches this month. Both Texas Avenue Baptist in College Station, TX, and Talking Rock Road Baptist in Branson West, MO, are going through the “Kidz4Missionz Destination: Africa” curriculum with their kids on Wednesday nights.
What a joy it has been to take part in these two kid’s programs! We defined terms/phrases such as “missionaries” and “planting churches”, and tried to help kids see the way they can take part in missions. We also gave the children an opportunity to ask questions, and we were blown away by the great questions they asked in regards to missions, sharing the Gospel, and church planting. We are so thankful for churches that see the importance in teaching children about missions!
One day soon, we look forward to sharing the Gospel in Uganda to help raise up the next generation of Ugandan boys and girls to take ownership of the Great Commission.
